The thing about diy audio is its all a learning experience. ie: as you progress the goalposts change...
Is there anyway we could implement an 'in hindsight' feature where we could edit a post to include info we learned after a post but relevant to the post..... For example: I started a post here: diy versus servo subs.. I built 3 sealed tempest subs.. In hindsight I've ended up building labhorns and sealed subs below. Theres mentions of bandpass boxes in there below LABS (and sealed) which at a later date would have relevance with this thread: Best way to handle 25hz & down 2 Tempests Cheers, Rob. |

Problem is that when you go back and alter the transcripts, you invalidate part of the following discussion, so someone reading it later might find it inconsistent and confusing. They will see people responding to something other than what is now there. Why not just tack a follow up on the end. Anyone interested should read the whole thread anyway.

You've got a good point. I was thinking of maybe using a different text colour to add links / useful info into posts.
