hi soongsc I haven't but I do have an oppinion on training yourself to have golden ears
IMO why would you ever want the curse of Golden ears!!! isn't it better to be ignorant and enjoy what you hear, rather than never be satisfied because you can hear all of the deficiencies??? just my worth Tony. |

If you want to design speakers, and you find what you get are just not good enough, wouldn't you want the bless of Golden Ears to know what area needs work? I enjoy music, but I also enjoy designing better systems. Based on the description, the training is supposed help you determine what to look for when you hear deficiencies. Whether you can hear defficiencies or not, probably depends on whether a surgery is necessary or not.

hehehe I guess it depends on the level of goldeness
I still think ignorance is bliss edit: completely off topic but kinda related... I will admit when I got a new camera, I took pictures at all different settings of the lens, couldn't see any difference, then I scanned the negatives at 4000 dpi and could see a very big difference!!! when I went back and looked (now that I knew what to look for) I could see the deficiencies with my naked eye quite easily! I now know what the limitations of the lens are and as a result get much nicer pictures. Tony. |

The measurement is the picture. The ear is the scanner.
