I just picked up an amp with a sick transformer. I found that the
thermal cutoff hidden under some of the core windings had opened. I can`t read a part #. What would be the most likely
temp rating used in a generic power supply transformer rated
at 70v ct 150va. And lastly I sure would like to buy one without
making a minimum order from Digikey so if some one would just sell me one.....

Yes it does. I was surprised too when I needed one and RS had it. Probably not the cheapest, but it's local and probably cheaper than paying shipping.

I believe that link is to high of fail rating. It's probably for larger coffee makers or even heater duty (flame roll out use).xplod1236 said:
