DIY meet in NYC?

Does the NYC area have any DIY meets or get togethers?

there's a very active AES organization in New York City.

I am sure that you could get a big crowd in NYC, LI or NJ

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of the AES group.

I am in Jersey City. I'd love to organize a small DIY group for having fun meets, either speakers or electronics.
