Default Things you Love

In the intrest of equal time --- here goes...

Spending a year with out any music so I can build a large well designed dedicated listening room. Planing, designing and building an over the top tri amped audio playback system, to have it turn out better than expected

Listening to Good, well recorded music played back on a good system. any time and any volume I want.

DYI audio

Thanks

I love listening to Anna Moffo's "French Opera Arias" - it was the first record high fidelity recording I ever owned -- and I recall listening to it on a KOSS Portable Stereo LP Player -- it must have been 1962. I still own the LP.

Second most favorite thing (musically speaking) is having lunch with my wife in the Astor Room of the Metropolitan Opera before the Saturday matinee -- 2 glasses of chardonnay and jambon on a baguette.

Calvin Coolidge wasn't embarrassed either -- but perhaps he shouldn't've picked Herbert Hoover as his successor.

Default Silent Cal

With that one exceptional bad move excluded, he was the best president of the 20th century.
