Default Looking for a website or other source

Ok , looking for a website or other source with a refrence to the components used in electronics . I'm wanting something like a poster type picture or pdf file with pictures of the components like diodes , caps , ect everything you could find on a board when you open up electronics and the different types of the basic same thing like the several different types of caps and the name of it , use of it and the symbol used in schematics .Looking for this so I'd have a refrence so I could hold the actual component in my hand , compare to the picture and get the rest of the info from there .
Thanks for any help
Timothy

obvious candidates- look for parts and check out the pdfs on digikey.com, mouser.com. Other pics on allelectronics.com, goldmine-elec.com.
