looking for schematics
i'm looking for the schematic layout of the ultrasonic humidifiers.
the reason behind this is that i work as a dj and for the upcoming halloween dances low lying fog would be a very nice effect. granted i have alternatives such as dry ice (very expensive and when it's gone it's gone) fog machine with cold box (fog tends to set off smoke detectors, which in schools is frowned upon), thin stream of liquid nitrogen over a elongated heater coil (have you ever tried to get that stuff). etc.....
granted i have taken apart one of those units recently, and found that it seems to be a simple amplifier circuit with a resonant LC array getting it to 40ish khz. but in the time i had it ripped apart i was under extreme scrutiny, apparently those things are expensive and people tend to frown on them being taken apart when your at there house to fix other things.
so if anyone has a schematic it would be nice, otherwise i may have to resort to the old 555 and a hexfet
