Congratulations Peter,

We weren’t going to miss you. You too have joined the illustrious ranks of the Enlightened, with Gray, AudioFreak, Dave, Ex-HH, Dice, and Mr. Pass, even without your alter-ego.

Default congratulations Peter!

Your posts are always informative.

And usually with humor.

Yippee... welcome to those who have passed the kilo-post mark...

I wondered how many posts we would celebrate if we were using a base 12 system (ie we evolved as 6 fingered beings)?

I would think 1000 would still probably be the number for a base 12 system, if we had 12 fingers. However, the real question is what makes one think of a question like that? :P.

Thank you guys.

I must admit that I enjoy this forum and the only problem I find is that it takes me away from building my projects. As you notice, I did 1k posts in 2 months, but finished only one amp. This ratio has to be improved or I will have nothing else to show.

Even my wife becomes a little more jealous about me and I find it harder to find proper excuse for using computer that much.

As to enlightement, everything starts with something and as long as you enjoy what you doing, can make sacrifices, have vision and are willing to learn and experiment, sooner or later you will achieve it.

For me, the road is still long thou.
