I'm looking for a repair manual on a Epson PowerLite 5550C LCD projector , just recieved one that was reported to have been working great then triped the breaker and a puff of smoke when turned on next time and each time since 3 times total .Was removed from room and stored for 6 months til it was aquired by myself .I have not pluged it up or taken it apart as of yet , hoping to find a free version of repair manual on it first or sugestions on what or where to start looking inside the unit when I open it .I know if there was smoke it should be pretty easy to see where it came from but would it most likely be in the power supply with it puling enough to trip a 20 amp breaker .I admit I've never been inside a projector before which is one reason the question may sound way too basic for the veterans in the field.
Thanks for any help / suggestions Tim |
