Gerber help on mac

Ok. my mission is simple. I want to use Gerbv or something similar to check and panelise my boards for my KrellClone pcb project. I have found a port that runs on the Mac, but I have absloutely no idea how to install it!

Call me thick if you want, but I have just spent about 2 hours reading through various websites, and I have absolutely no idea what those geeks are talking about. It seems to be a case that I have to download about 50MB of files, install this, compile that, run something else, configure the first three things, compile several other things and then configure them, then deal with a program that seems to have no logic about it at all!

Help!!!!

I'm watching too.....

Hmm, X11 is easy enough to get running. The one on the Apple site is good:
X11
However, as far a Fink and Fink commander go, I'm in the same boat as you Al:xeye:

Can Eagle read gerber files?

Thanks, for the suggestion P-A, but I'm using Eagle to generate the files, and I would prefer to test them with another programme, just to make sure! :)

If you could import gerber into Eagle I think it's something.

I could also import the files into my RUN.
