Donations & Custom Titles....Alert for anyone who has donated to the cause

It has come to my attention that we have not worked hard enough to let you all know that anyone who has donated is eligable for a custom title (ie you can see that mine is Frugal-phile(tm)).

Anyone who has donated, wishes a custom title, and has not gotten one yet, please mail me or SY & we will make it so.

Anyone who hasn't donated, and wants a custom title.... please make a donation.

Hi ,
I think many might donate without wanting any titles etc .
But it might be a good idea to acknowledge receipt of the donation via private email..... if the email connection is active or if you have their email ID. Paypal would provide that with their notice of payment.

I say this because in this not very honest world we hope the money reached the right place and not some Black Hole ! So an acknowledgement would put all fears to rest and additionally it would give a 'human' touch to the whole process of donating.

We like to think that people will contribute all year round. My last donation was about 4 or 5 months ago. But maybe you're right and we ought to do a yearly Beg-a-thon.

I contributed via paypal about 1 1/2 months ago. Echoing ashok's sentiment, Acknowledgement via private email would make us a little more secure that payment was indeed received, and not sucked into some black hole (with no hope of escape).

If you use the link on the donations page and then assured that it was received. We will have an entirely new system up and running sometime later this year and this is but one of the very many issues that will be addressed.
