My Marantz CD63SE recently started acting up.
When I press the open button the drawer opens 1/2" and immediately closes again. Other functions are fine. The problem is intermittent. Does anyone know what the problem is? Much grass. |

Hi Bill, have you checked the mechanisim on the drawer for any wear?
Somtimes its a worn pin or track that guides another mechanisim underneith to the micro switches, (that controls the the open and closing), causes this problem. If its not that, id say its either a worn switch or a controller issue. Trev

Bill,
Try unplugging the cables and reseating them. I cleaned the switches and did this and my problem went away. By the way... the CD63 SPECIAL EDITION is my favorite machine and it will outperform others costing more. |

Jiggled a couple of connectors and I'm on the road again.
Thanks. |
