Basically anything to do with building speakers, since I have never done this before.

I can keep up to a certain point when things get a bit technical, but I also wouldn't mind a book that lists formulas used etc. Basically a book that breaks these things down for a "simpleton" (like me) can understand.

Cool. I'll have to get that then. What about the book, Bullock on Boxes? I see it mentioned alot also. Good for a beginneer to intermediate DIYers or is that for, more or less, the pros.

I'll probably put in a order for it and a couple of others this weekend.

Thanks again.

Thanks.

I ordered the Loudspeaker Design cookbook. Also found some cool books on routers and a book called Workshop Math . Looked promising so I got it. I figured it would have some "short" cuts when it comes to caculating measurements. I sometimes tend to take the long way around when figuring out a problem. LOL!

Appreciate the help Dave.:D

Hi,
if you don´t mind the math, here are some articles from Thiele and Small: http://www.readresearch.co.uk/HTML/papers.htmhttp://www.readresearch.co.uk/HTML/papers.htm

You´ll also find great sites on the internet that cover so much knowledge in detail but yes a book is what I´d still prefer.

Master Handbook of Acoustics
Very nice book that is, although mathematical in places, very easy to read. It gives you a very good idea about sound transmission, room acoustics and the like. Not so much about loudspeaker design in specific.
