Make a picture 75x75 pixel max IIRC. Put it on a web server somewhere. Go to your user contro panel (CP). On the 2nd page is a place to put the URL of your avatar.

AFAIWI, avatar has to be 64x64 pixels max.

Just checked. My avatar is 75x75 and i know when i made it, i set it for Max.

Current avatar size is 75x75.

You don't need to host it - you can browse your hard drive for a suitable avatar.

Also please check the <a href="http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=4902&highlight=avatar">"Av atar Photos - How do I size them?"</a> thread.

I am happy to tweak avatars for any regular users who are having difficulty making them look good, or to post more information on technique.
