tiny generator calculation
I want to make a very small generator that has to only produce about 3 - 5 watts at 100 RPM. does anyone know of a resource where i can calculate how to wind coils and how many/big magnets i am going to need. i was hoping to use those rare earth magnets because they are very powerful for the weight, I can not just use a DC motor for this because it is an unusual application. and a motor will not be suitable (the generator has to go inside an allready rotating part) (it needs to be as lightweight as possible) |
