For example you have two pipes of different diameters and need an "adapter" in between you COULD say "Übergangsstück" although I´d guess there´s a more technical term for it.
It´s an odd word to say the least.
Do you have a whole sentence/context with it?

Funny webpage.
The swiss are known for precision work; I guess they still have to project that onto their websites.;)

The "Übergangsstück" must be a kind of junction between two of the parts. As I don´t know about goniometers and can´t find a better drawing it´s quite hard to say anything.

I dropped them an email. Let´s check the service!

I think that is an error on the page.
imo, it is the same as the "joint for magnetic base"
Which has the same code number too.

I worked with angle meters from early age, you do not need other than the items listed.

"Ubergangsstuck" is "joint" in this case, the part that connects the clinometer to the magnet.
joint is the same as an adapter, adapter is the British way, Joint is American.
btw, Reglus makes marvellous equipment.

JC,
se voce necesitar a outra explanacao tecnica voce esta livre emitir uma letra.
