To my eye, the schematics in the Elektor electronics magazine look very good - especially the component symbols and fonts used for labels and values are sexy.
Most schematic capture software I know has ugly symbol libraries and only knows lines, circles and a monospace vector font. If you are willing to spend years on defining your own symbols, you can come close with Eagle, but it still looks worse.
Does anybody know which software they use? I'd love to try it.
