Default Simplest way to get remote volume control?

I want to control the volume of my Buttkicker amp independently from my pre/pro. All I need is a volume control with an input and an output.

Also I'd like it to be no more than $50, otherwise I'll just get an old preamp from ebay.

I searched around Smarthome for awhile but it's a jungle in there and didn't see anything that fits the criteria.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
