Hi Everyone,
A friend of mine is looking for an inexpensive ( <$50) 1 or 2 channel amp ( ~25-50wpc) that can drive his new bass shakers. Has anyone come across any specials, closeouts, deals, etc over the past few days that they could share? Thanks! Eric |

I am a sucker for efficient amps, so I will suggest something Digital. One possibility is Tripath TA2020 or TA2021B or if you have the 50Ws, TA2022. There are of course other efficient amps that will work quite well, too, but I'll let you look those up if you are interested.

Here's an idea for you
List of products using Tripath Chips You could get the Sonic Impact and do a little modification for it to use 120V... The power supply would not be hard to build at all... I would prefer a bit higher power to those bass shakers. Also check out http://41hz.com/ - amp 3 on that site seems to be a very reasonable price and will be available soon, so says the site. And it's better than the Impact amp since it uses the TA2021B instead of the weak TA2024. |

Get a regular subwoofer plate amp, it should do the job

And be way more expensive than it's worth.

What about the ApexJR Dual 25 Subwoofer amp. Can't go wrong for $25.

Oh wow, $25 is not bad at all. But personally, I'd still prefer Class D.
