never worked with audio much and have a project i need to do. any help or direction would be appreciated. have a sound being produced by a mechanical spring (just a repeating pop). need a way to amplify that sound significantly (need neighbors to look!) but must be in a miniaturized form....nine volt power...figured could get a miniamp with mic, put mic next to sound, have amp connected to speaker...just need some advice from the experts! waiting anxious!
