Is anyone aware of what kind of pen to use to write on anodized aluminum or silkscreening (such as on PCBs or panels). It needs to be a black pen with a fine tip. I've tried a standard Sharpie and it doesn't stick. Suggestions would be appreciated!

Try the Staedtler Mars Lumocolor Permanent 31 series. The ink was originally designed for plastics printed with the old flatbed blueprint plotters. This will stick to epoxy-based clear coats. It is as permanent as you can get without having it automatically ships with an MSDS.
