I posted this question elsewere but I think it will get more attention here. So here goes.
I have a VGA to RGB cable. Is it safe to connect my computer VGA output directly to my tv RGB input? Is there a specific resolution or refresh rate that is necessary? I dont want to damage my video card or tv. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Lawrence |

60hz for NTSC. Resolution depends on what kind of TV you have, is it HD, widescreen, standard, etc? Standard 4:3 NTSC TV is 640x480.
Some TVs can be damaged by too high of a refresh rate, some have protection, I believe. |
