Power supply recycling

I pulled apart a graphic eq unit last nite - useless as far as I'm concerned, except for its case and its power supply.

I know I can use the case ... but the powersupply?

It's not grounded (strike one) ...

It has all the usual bits ... transformer, fuse, switch, cap on the AC input, then the PCB with the resistors, diodes, caps ... now here's the weird bit - 5 wires going off as power supply!

NOt labelled in any way that makes sense to me.

Perhaps someone can offer comments, advice suggetions on whether or not it's useble ... how to use it, how to determine if I can use it etc.

The PCB isn't something I'd spend too much time on. I can't see any high power devices I'd spend time rescuing.
As for the transformer, try to:
1) Determine AC input and output side.
2) find the output wire pairs (ohm-meter is useful)
With AC - and a lot of caution - applied, measurer output voltage of the secondaries.

then you can determine if you want to use it.
