Default Lights off.

yldouright, you are right about English not being my native language.

But sometimes even if it is a persons native language, they don't understand things written in "English"

But again, you are right, even after reading your posts again, "the light" is still off.

How do you presume to know the actions of a patent examiner? Are you speaking from your knowledge of English Law, American Law or International Law?

I know a little about international patent law from when I was involved with helping to develop a new concept in stage lighting controllers. Prior disclosure always invalidates a patent application, it's that simple. If you want to patent something, you must keep it quiet until after you have applied.

Disclosure without a statement of intention is indeed as you say in International Law because it then becomes public domain or 'free public knowledge' if you will but this was not the case in my post. I know you are a moderator and are trying to help but please post more prudently in the future.

One small correction, pm: public disclosure invalidates an application in most countries, but not the US. Here, once you've disclosed an idea, you've got a year to file. It does invalidate coverage elsewhere, fancy-sounding legal language notwithstanding.
