Question Soldering silver plated wire?

Hello, I'm buiding some simple interconnects but I curently have a problem. I'm using a RG-6 cable that is a king of silver plated, when im soldering it, the lead won't solder on wire at all. The solder im using is a 60/40 w/flux in it...
I'm mostly begineer at soldering but with gold plated interconect and copper wire I don't have any problem.
What should I do?

The solder is simply "floating over the wire"!

" RG6/U dual-shield 75 ohm coaxial cable for TV and security camera applications. Low-loss for use on long runs. Aluminium braid and foil shield. Gas-injected (foamed) PE dielectric. Copper clad steel conductor for tensile strength and reliable connection to F-connectors."

RG6 hasn't silver plated wires, IMHO.
(AL braid, Cu plated FE)
You waste your time, IMO.

Soldering to steel or aluminum, forget about it.

Just buy copper core and braid if you need to solder. Usually these cables are used with crimp connectors.
