Default Transmiting audio for HT

Hello all , I need to transmit 2 channel audio signals to speakers in a home theature setup about 15 feet apart.Only power lines are available in the speaker positions (2 rear speakers),the audio signals are to be via a small receiver. Can't put cables from amplifier to rear speakers. The amplifiers are to be inside the speaker boxes.the input audio signals to be received via FM receiver
Available options are using 2 FM transmitters at the DVD player end and 2 receivers at speakers end,but because of poor stability,(W/o any PLL) the signals will tune out,
Any ideas ?

Unless you are looking for a project to do, there are existing commercial products that do exactly that.

All you need is two mono transmitters, that have selectable (or tunable) frequency ranges and two receivers

Do you not have a Radio Shack in India?

Default What about infra-red?

This would be quite easy to make using an opamp to modulate the light output directly or you could FM modulate it. The receiver could be a photo-transistor etc... There are many circuits available on the web for this setup.

Build two directional units and set them up for line of sight.

Would look cool and be a discussion point too.

Cheers

Quasi!! good of you 4 Very a good suggestion,of using IR...Have to study indepth.
Quality of sound and interference from other light sources are of concern...
I think i have some IR receiver transisters with ambient light filters.
Will move the thread...

I have a couple of IR audio link ideas collected from web..
1. Simple Amplitude modulated.

2. FM modulated /demodulated PLL using CD4046.but uses hard to get CA3237E IR amplifier IC rcever end.
