useless link

Moderators:

I notice the "customize" link on the main page doesn't do anything except reload the page. So why is it there?

And speaking of customizing. . .

It sure would be nice if a user could indicate their desire not to see certain thread catagories. For example, I would like to see a main page sans tubes, car stereo, musical instruments and a few others.

I find it amusing that your list of things to not show are most of the things I read every day. The things I don't care about I just skip over.

I only follow four categories, all the others don't seem to get in my way.
