OK. So you jump into a thread and post a reply only to find that the thread has gone to the dogs as many (most?) threads do.
You want OUT. You don't want emails telling you of replies. Is there an opt out feature? If so, I can't find it. I emailed DIY about this but so far ZIP. Who's with me on this? |

Yes you can stop receiving emails about a particular thread....
Goto http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/usercp.php Select 'the beginning' in the dropdown box at the bottom of subscribed threads then click 'go' Then under each thread listed there is a link to 'Unsubscribe' from that thread.... Click the ones you no longer want notification of and it's all done. |

At the end of your email there should be a little sentence:
To unsubscribe from this thread, please visit this page: (link here) Just follow the link... Should do the trick, although I've never had the need to do so. |

Hi Bill,
I take full blame for not replying to you. I don't read my home email regularly, often getting home from work between 1 and 2am. I did read your email but the seeming effort of writing an explanation created a mental block that caused me to press the 'sleep' button on my laptop :) Ok, here goes.... You can unsubscribe via your user control panel. Ahh. That wasn't so hard now Jason was it? No. |

I now see that the cancelling opportunity affords itself in the email. I'm now looking for a brown paper bag to hide my head in. Thanks. |
