Newbie looking for DIY

Hi, i just started working on Audio Electronics and i just bought a PC board set. I was wondering if anyone had any basic designs for a project for a beginner? I currently have two 3x4.5" PC boards that i would like to try out before i got buy more pc boards. Thanks

Decibel Dungeon has some good newbie info. The site owner (Nuuk) is an active member here.

I'm sure there is much more information out there. Chip amps just aren't my thing.
