I'm helping a friend connect his new DVD player to his very old VCR. The problem is that the VCR has rather unusual connectors on the back; for the audio, it has a 7-pin DIN socket. I've come across plenty of stuff that uses 5-pin DIN for audio, but not 7-pin, and I have no idea what the pinout is and have been unable to find anywhere that does.
Does anyone here know what the standard pinout for 7-pin DIN for audio is? Otherwise I will have to go back and open up his VCR before I can make a cable up, which means a delay.
