Creating a wiki

Hey guys, I need a bit of help. I want to create a wiki so that my family can add to and update Christmas wish lists for our secret santa gift exchange. Problem is, I have no idea how to do it. Is there a simple step by step instruction out there for how to create one?

Wikis are for audio related items that members of these forums are interested in, not your personal xmas wish list. Use a pencil and paper.

I assume you meant you wanted to use your own web space to start a wiki for family members living in different places. In that case, start reading:

That should get you pointed in the right direction.
