On Almost All Projects, It doesn't really matter what circuit board you use.
In all the years I have been doing electronics (I'm 59 and started at 12 years old, but there were no circuit boards back than) I use whatever is available. Currently I use a 1/32 inch thick, Glass Epoxy board with a 2 ounce copper layer. Why?...... Because I got a Really good Price on a lot of it. And I design and etch all the boards required for the projects on my website, using this same board. I have also recieved many compliments about the ones I have sold. http://www3.telus.net/chemelec/Projects/Projects.htm Most Glass Epoxy is good, but even cheaper types will work in most applications. Take care........Gary |
