There's a lot of stories about Tesla's inventions... like the supposed "death ray" (i readed someplace that the meteorite that impacted in Russia was actualy a test of it... hrmrmrm)... that he was researching on wireless loseless power transmision (the "resonating earth" thing, probably that was true). He did some breakthroughs outside the electromagnetism field, like the Tesa bladeless turbine and other assorted goodies
