--Background--
Had a headset for my cell phone that went t/u. So rather than go out and buy a new one, I dug through my box o' spare parts and found the basic components for a hands free cell unit (hfcu). Only thing is I wanted to hook up the hcfu to the line-in on my car stereo (5 spd and cell phone = bad combo), so by piecing together everything (mic, 2.5mm input plug) and by having the ouput be dual RCA cables, got it to work... kinda... Basically, everything is direct wired together as if it were the headset. --Problem-- There is some interference coming through the hfcu from the phone. My electrical knowledge is very limited (can't tell a resistor from a cap). However, car audio is something that I can do. Go figure. --Question-- Is there a simple line filter (probably of the high pass variety) that I can assemble/install to eliminate the interference? |
