Default An Ebay Animal Warning!

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws1/eBayISA...=STRK:MEWN:SFS
I just had my worst Ebay experience ever in my life.
I bought two packs of resistors from this power seller "arfproducts". This person has 159 negative feedback in the past 12 month!
But, the ebay record still says this animal has 98.1% satisfaction.
How's that possible! Is Ebay crazy?
Worst of all, I think he got another ID to buy stuff from himself to obtain positive feedback.
Man...
Be careful, everybody!

Default an answer perhaps?

There has been a spate of identity hijacking on ebay. I have recieved and sent in several phishing emails, it could be your sellers identity is being used to scam people, if you haven't already you should contact ebay, they may be able to do something useful.

Default very strange

It seems one of our well known vendors (apexjr) is also an occasional buyer from this guy and didnt seem to have any problem, very strange.

This is really amusing, thanks for posting. An ebay-rage obsessed buyer has written an almost complete novel using negative feedbacks. Very original

Can anyone explain how 98% positive buyers is possible? When I calculate I get 57%.

The percentage is based on the number of members who gave negative ratings, not the number of ratings given. Only two unique members have given all 159+ negative ratings (geez), so that's how the math works out.

A really wierd way of calculating. I would have been better if it would be "satisfied persons" instead.

That is what it's based on. It counts members giving positive ratings, just as it counts members giving negative ratings. The percentage is the number of unique members who left a positive, out of members who left a positive plus members who left a negative.

What was your experience exactly? It seems that only one person has some problems. Look how many posts he has done in a very stort time!
