...if all these Pass projects we're working on is keeping Nelson from putting out new DIY ideas? With so much to work with from this site and his site, why would he want to put more stuff out there? Some have gone as far as peeking into the X-series stuff, which is very cool in my opinion.
I just wonder what he's got cooking next... |

I think it's highly cool that Pass shares ideas with
the DIY community. I doubt it hurts his interests, and it stimulates interest in alternate designs. I'm sure it brings in newcomers who will become significant players in the industry in another decade or two. And it's free advertising. Those who can't and don't build can get a favorable opinion from builders, and buy from him. I call it good karma. I'm quite certain he doesn't tell ALL his secrets, some of which may simply be attention to manufacturing details. When he comes up with newer and better designs that obsolete the current ones, he may let trickle out some additional details and circuits for us to play with. |

Nelson gave some hints as to upcoming projects while he was a guest on an AV site a month or two back. Mark (mefinnis) stuck the URL in a thread that's probably buried pretty deep by now, but it should be findable--use the search function.
I remember some mention of a crossover, and new, smallish amplifier circuits. Grey |
