free tool to create thumbnails
I've created this small tool for myself, but it could be useful for other people to.
Created in C# for version 1.1 of the .Net framework.
It is downloadable from http://www.creatronix.com/files/thumbalizer.zip
.Net framework 1.1 can be downloaded/installed via Windows update or the microsoft website
'manual':
- Run the application.
- Select the appropriate thumbnail size from the dropdown list.
- (Un-)Select the squarify checkbox. (When the Squarify option is checked it will create a square image with a white background, otherwise it will create an image with the original width/height scale.)
- Drop directories or files from the explorer on the form and the application will create thumbnails in a thumbs subdirectory.
Only images with extension .jpg are processed and it does NOT iterate through directories recursively.
