Who's Going to CES this Year? (Las Vegas)

I registered today.

If anyone is interested in getting a diyaudio.com meet together at, or around the show we should discuss/plan. As a group, we'll have more influence in getting the guys like Mr. Pass out to dinner...

Anyone live in the Vegas-area where we can crash?

there will be no hookers in Las Vegas -- they have all been bussed to New York and Boston for the Republican and Democrat Presidential Conventions.

on the RAT newsgroup rec.audio.tubes and rec.audio.tech there have been DIY dinners set up at some of these conventions.

I managed to get my wife interested in going to CES, and she booked the flights and tickets today. I would highly recommend booking your hotel reservations now, as most of the decent places are filling up already (at least for the cheaper rooms they offer).

CES is going on from January 6th to 9th. My wife booked a flight to get there thursday morning at 11:15am, and leave sunday night at 11:45pm.
