There is a publishing company that offers technical titles on-line for a very hefty annual fee. But they have weekly samplers that you can open in your browser and download for free. This week is Machinery's Handbook.Go to:

Click on the links for each chapter and when they open in your pop-up window, save them to your hard drive. Please note that the chapter "Properties, Treatment, and Testing of Materials" is split into multiple sections. So you can't just click on that link and save it. You must also click on the "+" sign to expand the links and then download each section individually. This is a limited-time event. |
