But seriously since I'm not a student, don't have a prof teaching me this stuff, I run a real risk of:
1) solving these problems but either incorrectly or making invalid assumptions/reasoning
2) not being able to do it when all I need is a little hint in the right direction
3) skipping over some really interesting/instructional points.
and hey -- there's no professor Smile to put in here!
yeah, I would sujest having a look through the student guide book that accompanies this text, as I have had a quick flick through it in the university press shop here (it's so nice to be able to get these books for 25% less just because it's printed here) and it looks like it could be the answer to your problems.
