Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find the typical specifications for a line level signal i.e voltage level etc as I would like to know how long I can run a length of cable before a distribution amplifier is required? |

Hi M,
I'm no expert, but I'd say 1 Vrms gets you in the ballpark. If you want a nifty intro to the physics of cables and other nifty audio stuff, check out: http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/~www_pa/...io/Analog.html And I'm not recommending it soley because of my heritage. ![]() Best, George Ferguson |
