hey guys
im in the process of building an interface to connect all matter of things to my computer for making, recording and playing music does anyone know how to limit or get rid of mechanical or any other noise when recording from a tape deck to a soundcard? at the moment there seems to be a hiss and also a whiring noise. this also happens when connecting a video playing up aswell do i just need a better soundcard or is there something i can build to limit this noise. also does anyone have any good articles on limiting computer noise or the do's and don'ts of using your computer to record music etc the pic attached is the idea in the first design stage feel free to post any comments or problems you can see with the design thus far cheers in advance
