Hi girls'n guys.
I've been faced with a question, to wich I really don't have the answer: Is it safe to run a DMX512 signal in an audio multicore (to the stagebox), or is it too noisy?? I've always tried to leave the lightjobs to the other pro's, concentrating on the sound, but this is for a one-man setup, so convenience counts. Has any of You got experience in this area?

Yeh, done it many times. As long as it is a reasonable quality multi then you will have no problem at all.
However, just to qualify that, I have always been using high end gear, semi pro stuff may well be different...

Done it...no problems so far. If there is a problem then you might wanna try re routing it elsewhere...DMX can go very far, so it shouldn't be a problem.
