a while back I upgraded from vista to win8
before installing, i created a new partition with "minitool" and installed win8 to the new partition.
I ended up with dualboot system.
a few days ago I decided to remove vista, and used "minitool" to format the partition it was on.
now the pc wont boot.
using the win8 cd to boot from, I got to command prompt, but cant make the partition win8 is on "active", as it is on a logical/extended partition..
any suggestions???

Or download an run G-parded from CD, then mark the partition "active" & "system partition"
