The aim of this sequence of threads (there may be more 😉) is to try and establish a point at which a significant number of listeners can reliably pick out a difference in quality between to similar music files.

Thought I better post my own results here. Two consecutive runs, the first was listening to the louder part toward the end, the second the quieter first part.
