Hi there everyone im new to this site. Ive recently bought a playstation 1 (model scph-1002) with the intention of doing the modifications to improve the sound, even though im very impressed with it so far. Im going to follow the instructions on the 'dogbreath site' however instead of using the wilma caps I have opted for elna silmic 2s (50v. 4.7uf) .My question however is on the dogbreath site he uses 22k resistors just before the rca connections which he uses based on his own amp impedance. Im using a roksan k2 amp with 47k input impedance. Which resistors would be most suitable. Hopefully someone can help. Thankyou carl
Hi, As you can read on the dogbreath site there's another possibility to improve the sound, simply get the audio output from the av connector, not from the RCAs cause the AV dont pass trought the cheap OpAmp and the sound is more clear.
