Unhappy CRT Burn-In: Need the Technical Facts.

First off I apologize if this is the incorrect forum but everyone seems so knowledgeable around here. I would especially like to here back from a user KennyG. I have burn-in on my 10 month old Mits. I had a pro come out and do the convergence for me when I purchased it. The Contrast was set on full from the factory. The screen that has been burned in is a screen I don’t access often on my directTV receiver. I can’t see how I could have caused this to happen. I understand how the phosphor is charged and how uneven ware causes this "burn-in" I would like to hear if there is quality control issues that could cause this? I’m trying to get a replacement from Mits and I am 100% positive that the screen that is "burned-in" is far less then 15% of my total viewing time. Some technical facts around this would really help me in my quest for resolution on this issue as well to prevent this from happening in the future.

Thanks everyone.
