Latest project for one and all

Someone just bought a digital camera that they were dying to try out. The only ongoing project around the shop is this STENDEC unit. The I/Os aren't hooked up yet, and I haven't worked out all the details on interfacing the Ultra AnalLog DAC yet. It has a 4-1 digital compression ratio. But here it is anyway.

Note the use of Wima caps as bypass only. (Are you reading this, Harry and Diceman?)

the board looks a bit tooo tidy..

the caps and IC aren't configured realisticly..

compression ratio ??? this is a DIY HI-fi forum! (at least)...

What is this thread about ?....

I think I still don't get it....

I understand our European friends not getting it, and maybe, just maybe, the Aussies. But the Americans, and "pommies" should. Must not be any Boy Scouts out there.

Well Jocko, I'm an aussie and used to be a boy scout and i know why the layout is so pretty

also i agree with you that BrianGT's and HH's clues are like a slap in the face if your switched on to it. hehehe.
