Default SA-25 NEXUS potted op amp- What is ext pot for?

C:\Documents and Settings\Lewis and Betsy\Desktop\gizmosm.jpg

Anyone know if this would be good for a DAC buffer or other audio?
voltage?
ext pot used for?
What value pot should I use?

I have 3.

The ext pot is most likely for offset adjustment.

Else I have no idea about the usefulness of these amps but why not try them out?
