microphone noise canceling

I've been doing a LOT of voice chatting at my computer lately. I'm looking into something to do noise canceling, but not using software on the computer since I rely on both Android, Windows and Linux. Something like a two-microphone setup, and I'm willing to build my own circuit or setup for the noise canceling.
I'm not willing to put a lot of money into this. Something like 20-30 euro, maybe more if it seems worthwhile in my eyes. Is there anything that would work?
Ebay sells all kind of microphones that look like a shotgun microphone, but are just unidirectional or cardioid.

Just use two capsules in parallel electrically and placed back to back.

My wife and I used to run an internet radio show. We have a "hypercardoid" mic, and it works well, except when she looks away from the mic. Far better was the head-worn mic we got.

Keep the mic as close to your face as possible, and attached to your head. Works best.

2 identical mics with 1 out of phase will work quite nicely.

okay, I will try placing 2 microphones back to back.
should I just use normal electrets without any housing? or does the housing matter?

housings help in blocking out additional noise sources. If the mics are close to the source then you won't need them.
